Java and Bali itinerary

First-time travellers to Indonesia usually start with Java and Bali, the two most well-known islands of the archipelago which together offer everything you would expect from a suggested Indonesia itinerary. In three weeks you’ll travel by private car with driver and shared minibus to colonial cities and the infinite tea plantations where you can pick your own tea and travel by train to Yogya’s mystical temples. You’ll visit one of the most beautiful volcanoes in Indonesia before travelling by ferry to Bali, where you can snorkel among the colourful coral and trek through the jungle to tropical waterfalls. You’ll be staying in charming accommodation surrounded by rice paddies, on a tropical beach and with some of the best views you could possibly imagine.

Just like Komodos and Nemos, this 4-week itinerary will take you down the path less trodden. The route is the same with the addition of eastern Java.
